2016 Annual TxCIA Conference to be held in April

The Texas Captive Insurance Association has announced it will be holding its third Annual TxCIA Conference on April 19-20, 2016.

The event will be held in Houston, Texas at the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria Hotel.

Last year’s event saw a number of speakers from the captive insurance industry, such as Ellyn Casazza, senior vice president - captive solutions practice at Marsh USA; Sherry Ricker, account executive / vice president at Willis; and Andrew Marson, senior account manager, Strategic Risk Solutions.

The 2015 conference covered topics such as statute review and legislature, captive regulations, and underwriting and taxing in Texas.

The list of speakers and topics has so far not been unveiled for the 2016 event.
