Atlas Insurance expands Charlotte and Cayman offices with new hires amid growth

Atlas Insurance Management (Atlas), a Charlotte-based independent captive insurance management firm, has appointed six new employees to the firm’s US operations in Charlotte, North Carolina and offshore in the Cayman Islands.

Lori Holford joins the firm as assistant underwriter, Leah Covey has been appointed as account manager; Stacey Oaks, administrative assistant and Melissa Smith, underwriting assistant. Holford, Covey, Oaks and Smith will also be based in Atlas’s Charlotte office.

The firm has expanded its Cayman Islands office with the hire of Brenda Munnelly, account manager and Deanna Thompson, account executive.

The new appointments come amid increased demand for the firm’s captive insurance solutions.
