IMAC’s Cayman Captive event attracts over 1,400 delegates

The Cayman Captive Forum, hosted by the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC), is expected to attract over 1,400 delegates registered for the event.

The event, which is being held at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman from November 29 to December 1, has been going on for 24 years and has been run by volunteers from IMAC. The event engages with captive directors, chief financial officers, risk managers, captive insurance managers and other service providers worldwide.

This year’s keynote speaker is Diana Nyad, who at the age of 64 swam the 110 mile epic journey from Cuba to Florida.

Among the topics being discussed are global risks and trends, cyber security, new regulatory requirements and the emerging medical risks of Zika, Ebola and other infectious diseases.

Erin Brosnihan, forum committee chair of Kensington Management Group, said: “We have another incredible line up of speakers this year, we have a great team that has worked tirelessly to put on a great event and of course we couldn’t have done it without all of our sponsors, but I do want to acknowledge our main sponsor this year, KPMG.”
