Missouri Department of Insurance captive manager resigns

Maria Sheffield has resigned from her position of captive programme manager at the Missouri Department of Insurance.

The department thanked Sheffield for her two years of service and her dedication to its Missouri captive programme.

During her time as manager 22 captive licenses were issued, bringing the total to 51. Sheffield also helped reinforce the department’s mission of helping businesses manage retained risk through a captive insurance company.

The Missouri Department of Insurance has begun the recruiting process and is actively seeking qualified candidates to apply for our captive insurer programme manager to take the organisation’s captive programme “to the next phase”.

John Rehagen, director of the insurance company regulation division will continue to be involved in the captive programme throughout the recruitment process.
