Robus appoints Locate Guernsey head as CEO

Robus, an insurance management and advisory group based in Guernsey and Gibraltar, has named Richard Le Tocq as its new CEO, replacing Simon Walker.

The appointment is effective July 1, as Walker moves on to the role of chief operating officer at First Central Group.

Le Tocq joins from Locate Guernsey, where he lead a team to promote Guernsey as a relocation destination for businesses and individuals.

He has over 25 years of experience of the Guernsey Financial Services sector, having held numerous senior roles as well as executing the role of chairman of the Guernsey branch of the Institute of Directors.

Walker has over 20 years of experience in the insurance sector and moved to Robus in 2016 from Aon. Here, he held senior roles such as chief administration officer at Aon Global Risk Consultants and group head of operations at Aon Captive and Insurance Management.
