TPP brings on R&Q captive specialist to board of directors

Tenant Property Protection (TPP), an Arizona-based company that provides protection of tenant goods to self-storage owners and operators, has appointed captive insurance specialist Richard Marshall to its board of directors.

Marshall works as a captive insurance consultant to businesses and professionals, assisting them in forming captives and risk retention groups.

“Dick’s expertise in captive insurance, risk management, and regulatory processes will be invaluable to have on our board,” said TPP principle owner and chairman Harry Sleighel.

Marshall was chairman of R&Q Quest Management Services USA up until 2014, a company that provides captive and insurance management services with offices in Scottsdale, New York, Burlington and Philadelphia.

Prior to this he served as the first captive insurance administrator for the Arizona Department of Insurance, responsible for setting up the state’s Captive Insurance Division. Here he was tasked with attracting and overseeing financially sound captive insurance companies under legislation that went into effect July 2002.
