VCIA announces date of captive taxation webinar

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has announced it will be holding a captive taxation webinar on December 16, 2015.

The webinar, Captive Taxation: Trends and New Developments, will run for two hours from 2-4pm EST.

Arthur Koritzinsky, managing director for Marsh's captive solutions group, will moderate the webinar. Panelists will include Daniel Kusaila, lead tax services partner, Crowe Horwath; Charles Lavelle, part of the tax and employee benefits practice group at Bingham Greenbaum Doll; and Thomas Jones, partner at McDermott Will & Emery.

Participants will be able to learn about main differences between business and insurance risk, recognise current definitions of risk distribution, identify the implications of recent taxpayer victories, understand updates and will be well informed on other important tax developments

The VCIA has said that although there may be time during the webinar to take questions, however participants should aim to submit questions in advance via email to  info@vcia.com no later than December 2nd.
