VCIA to host captive taxation webinar

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has announced it is holding a captive taxation webinar this week.  The webinar, Captive Taxation: Trends and New Developments Webinar, will be held on Wednesday 16 December from 2-4pm EST.  The programme will see captive tax specialists inform viewers on the latest 2015 developments affecting captive insurance companies.  “Our experts will provide details on the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) current focus regarding captives, as well as trending topics that have come to light over the past year and are likely to impact captive insurance companies,” said the VCIA. The organisation said the webinar is aimed towards taxable organisations, but has relevance to all with the cutting edge topics impacting the captive industry.  It will be moderated by Arthur Koritzinsky, and includes panelists Daniel Kusaila, tax partner, Crowe Horwath; Charles Lavelle, partner, Bingham Greenebaum Doll; and Thomas Jones, partner, McDermott Will & Emery. Those who wish to register for the event must do so by December 15.
