AM Best unveils speakers for DCIA forum
AM Best has provided more details of its involvement in this year’s Delaware Captive Insurance Association (DCIA) annual Fall Forum.
The Forum is scheduled for November 2-3, 2022, at the Hyatt Place Wilmington Waterfront in Wilmington, Delaware.
AM Best associate director Dan Teclaw and senior financial analyst Adrienne Stark will provide the company’s overview of the US captive industry.
Teclaw and Stark will discuss AM Best’s rating process as it applies to captive insurers, the alternative risk transfer criteria procedure and considerations and rated captive insurers’ performance vs. commercial casualty peers, as well as recent captive trends in the pre- and post-COVID-19 era.
Other speakers at the event include Brian Johnson, president and consulting actuary at Risk International Actuarial Consulting, Patrick Theriault, managing director at Strategic Risk Solutions, Michael Grillo, captive financial analyst at the Delaware Department of Insurance Bureau of Captive & Financial Insurance Products, Nir Kossovsky, chief executive of Steel City Re and Stephen Taylor, the newly appointed director of the Bureau of Captive and Financial Insurance Products at the Delaware Insurance Department.
