Captive insurance to be featured at Puerto Rico forum

Sessions on captive insurance and sustainable insurance will be among the topics being discussed at the Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum in October. 

The fourth annual forum will take place on October 21 and 22 in San Juan and will feature local and international experts in the international banking and insurance industries. 

In addition to captives and sustainable insurance, delegates will hear about Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Cybersecurity, Anti-Money Laundering, latest developments from FinCEN, New Regulations Regarding Cryptocurrency and Success Stories in international banking and insurance. 

Among the speakers are Natalia I. Zequeira, Commissioner of Financial Institutions and Manuel Cidre, Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce.

Hugo Cordova, President of the Puerto Rico International Insurers Association (PRIIA), said: "The information presented during the FSF is carefully curated to offer the most updated information available with renowned industry experts. Over two days, we will dive into highly relevant topics, in addition to seeing the opportunities this represents for businesses in Puerto Rico, he concluded."
