HDI Global Insurance unveils new CUO

Marco Hensel has announced that he is starting a new position as chief underwriting officer at HDI Global Insurance Company.

Hensel is based in Chicago. He was previously underwriting lead at HDI Global, again in Chicago, having been appointed in October 2022.

Prior to that he worked for HDI Global SE, first as a senior vice president from October 2003 to January 2022, where he was managing & underwriting reverse flow and services for North America and then as underwriting services lead.

From February 2001 to February 2003 he was self-employed as an attorney at law.
