New SVP of group captives at Arch

Christopher Nash has been appointed senior vice president group captives at Arch Insurance Group, based in the US.

He will oversee a nationwide team of group captive underwriters responsible for around $300 million in gross captive premium.

He joined the company as vice president, underwriting - alternative markets in May 2018, based in the area of Hartford, Connecticut.

Nash was previously vice president - program management, sales & underwriting at York Risk Services Group in California from July 2015 to May 2018, where he was responsible for the growth and development of a program management team focused on captive products.

Prior to that he worked for Travelers as a captive market account executive from November 2007 to June 2015.
