CTCIA hails success of annual Collaborative

The Connecticut Captive Insurance Association (CTCIA) has announced that its 2023 Collaborative: Captivating the Future was a resounding success.

The CTCIA said that it wanted to thank you to all of its members, guests and speakers who joined it for the event.

The event itself started with remarks about the current state of the insurance industry in Connecticut from deputy commissioner Jared Kosky and assistant deputy commissioner Fenhua Liu of the Connecticut Insurance Department, as well as Susan Winkler, vice president and executive director of Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services.

There were also a series of panels on captive usage in a wide range of areas.

In addition CTCIA presented a Lifetime Achievement in Captive Insurance Award to Arthur Koritzinsky, managing director of Marsh at the event, recognising him for his many successes and advocacy of captive insurance throughout his career.
