Garnet promotes Marmesh to SVP
Garnet Captive Services has promoted Carrie Marmesh to the role of senior vice president.
Marmesh, who was previously regional vice president and based is still based in San Francisco, was promoted in March according to her LinkedIn page.
She has been with Garnet since 2011 when she joined the company as an assistant vice president. She was previously with Garnet from 2004 to 2006 as a risk management associate before spending four years as an account executive at Berkley Risk Administrators from 2006.
Garnet Captive Services, which is headquartered in Philadelphia, agreed to be bought by captive insurance giant Strategic Risk Solutions in March.
Garnet partners with select retail brokers to educate and implement group captive solutions for their clients.
Garnet was founded in 2002 and has created group captive programs that help employers access the benefits of self-insurance without taking on undue risk. The group captives are member-owned and operated for the benefit of those members.
