Cayman Islands announces increase in annual fees for registered companies

The Cayman Islands Government’s Ministry of Financial Services & Commerce has announced an uptick in annual fees for companies registered in the jurisdiction.

The Ministry said that in light of Government's investments to improve the Companies Register's service delivery over the last decade, significantly in technology, company annual fees in the Cayman Islands will modestly increase as of 1 January 2024.

These fees have remained largely unchanged over the last decade.

Accordingly fees affecting companies, partnerships and trusts will be adjusted to cover increased service delivery costs.

Special purpose captive cell fees will also increase, going from KY$300 to a minimum of KY$400.
