Dara Keogh was described by one respondent as a dynamic leader at the forefront of insurance and reinsurance innovation. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience. Before taking up his post at Grant Thornton he served as a partner and head of insurance/banking for a ‘big four’ accounting firm, before which he served as an executive account manager at Kensington Management Group, a captive insurance management firm.
Paul Arbo has been a partner with BDO Cayman for 13 years and has been in public practice audit for 22 years, between Canada and the Cayman Islands. He specialises in captive insurance as well as broader insurance and reinsurance, hedge funds, management companies, trust companies, technology, hospitals, and not-for-profits. He is the firm’s HR partner. At BDO he oversees and signs off on a number of the firm’s insurance audits, as well as companies from other sectors.
David Watt has worked with KPMG for more than 12 years, and was admitted to the Cayman partnership in 2015. Described as very direct and forthright, for more than 10 years he has been mainly focused within the operating company, public sector and insurance industries, specialising in advising and serving insurance and reinsurance clients. He was a founding member of the Reinsurance Focus Group and leads KPMG’s presence at the Cayman Captive Forum.
