Barclays Wealth and Investment Management has promoted 12 employees across its Guernsey and Jersey operations in its 2014 promotions round.

The promotions are effective across all levels of the organisation and feature a number of different business divisions including two promotions to director, two to vice president and seven promotions to assistant vice president.

His role includes working with Barclays multi-jurisdictional team, which provides banking, credit, investment and trust solutions across the key global captive insurance jurisdictions in Europe, Bermuda and Caribbean and US onshore.

Clayton leads the compliance teams which operate in Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Jersey and specialises in regulatory compliance across all areas of the business.

She is also a committee member of the Barclays Jersey Women’s Initiative Network helping to promote the development and key progression of talented individuals within the business.

Also in Jersey, David Bryon has been promoted to vice president, Peter Roux and Mark Copp have been promoted to assistant vice president and Sharron Marshall has been promoted to a BA4 level in the infrastructure team.

Helen Vieira, Katrina Tannahill and Davog McGlinchey have been promoted to assistant vice presidents in the global investments and solutions team.

Managing director at Barclays, Paul Savery, says, “It is encouraging to see a number of internal promotions across the different areas of the business in the Channel Islands. Developing individuals whilst recognising their achievements is an important part of Barclays’ strategy to invest in our employees. It’s brilliant to see so many of our employees taking on greater responsibility in their roles within the company.”
