Changing of the guard at TigerRisk

TigerRisk Partners has reshuffled its leadership with current president Rob Bredahl taking over as CEO from Rod Fox, who becomes executive chairman, the company has announced. The risk, capital, and strategic advisor to the global re/insurance industries has also appointed Tim Ronda, who will join TigerRisk as its new president later this month.

Bredahl joined TigerRisk in 2019, and the move completes the business’s CEO transition plan. While Fox stays on in the company in a “hands-on” role, the change would allow him to focus on “advising clients and prospects and doing deals,” said Bredahl.

Ronda joins from Aon, where he held positions of president of Aon Reinsurance Solutions in the US and, more recently, global geographic leader overseeing its regional capabilities worldwide.

“This is an exciting time for the company,” said Fox. “I am proud of what we have achieved, but it is now time for a new breed of leaders. I will still be working full-time in the business, making sure clients are getting what they need and allowing the company to move forward. When Jim Stanard and I founded the company in 2008, naysayers gave the company little chance to thrive, and we are thirteen years on with a phenomenal market-leading team and a bright future ahead of us.”
