CICA conference to discuss captive strategies to tackle business disruption

The Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) will be hosting a  conference which provides various strategies on minimising business disruption with the use of captive insurance companies.

CICA’s 2017 International Conference, ‘CAPTIVES: Defying Disruption’, will be held on March 12-14 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego, California.

Conference participants will hear strategies on minimising disruption by preparing for the new accounting standards, translating your risk analysis into an effective captive insurance program, funding medical stop loss through cell captives, understanding the changing federal and state tax landscape.

One such presentation, presented by partners at law firm Morris, Manning & Martin as well as McIntyre & Lemon, will be addressing how the new political landscape may impact the captive insurance industry.

“Big change is underway in Washington and change provides opportunity,” says Robert Myers Jr, partner at law firm Morris, Manning & Martin.

Lindsey Pollak, a recognised specialist on millennials in the workplace, will be a keynote speaker for effectively addressing change.
