Dyson names global insurance head

Dyson has named Scott Bristow as its new global head of insurance.

Bristow, who announced the appointment on his LinkedIn profile, will assume the role on 23 August.

Previously, he spent 12 years at GlaxoSmithKline where he was corporate director of insurance and risk management. This role ended in November 2020.

Since then, Bristow had worked at Brent Council.

Commenting on his appointment, Bristow wrote: “Today I have finished my role at Brent Council and would like to thank all the people I have worked with there.

“I am pleased to advise that I will be working with Dyson as their global head of insurance... I am very excited about this opportunity and the future.”
