Employee benefits changes at Zurich


Zurich has made changes to its health and benefits teams.

In London, Chris Mason has been appointed director of customer and distribution management for UK and APAC. In his new role, he is responsible for delivering and managing Zurich’s Global Health & Benefits solutions across captives, global underwriting and multinational pooling. He is also responsible for Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions for large corporate and commercial customers in the UK and APAC.

Mason has been with Zurich for over 20 years and was previously regional distribution and customer manager for the regions. He started with the business in 2000 in claims handling.

In Switzerland, meanwhile, Moritz Loeschner has been promoted to regional director for customer and distribution management in Europe, responsible for its Global Life & Health solutions for employees. Loeschner will focus on global employee benefits financing through captive, global underwriting and pooled solutions.

Loeschner has been with Zurich since 2009 and was its head of customer relationship management in Europe for Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions. He was previously with management consultants IIC.
