Everest Re, the Bermuda-based holding company, has named Charles Higham as vice president and leader of the Financial Institutions Group at Everest Specialty Underwriters, a division of Everest Insurance.
Higham joins Everest Insurance from Zurich North America, where he led the financial institutions group. He is responsible for leading the management and professional liability lines of business for all types of financial institutions as part of the broader growth initiatives at Everest Insurance.
“We are excited to have Charlie leading the Financial Institutions Group as we expand and grow our portfolios in key industries such as security broker/dealers, captive agents, insurance companies and banks,” said Michael Karmilowicz, leader of Everest Specialty Underwriters.
