Guernsey Finance has appointed a new deputy chief executive. Barnaby Molloy has worked with the promotional agency for Guernsey’s financial services sector for five years and was previously its operations and marketing director. Molloy has 15 years’ experience in marketing in financial services and gaming, specialising in digital marketing strategy and execution, governance, team leading and business development. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Directors.

He said: “I believe that the team we have now is fully aligned in both purpose and values, going into what is an undoubtedly challenging but incredibly exciting time in the promotional body’s history.

“Guernsey’s strengths of expertise, stability, innovation and substance are more important than ever in our role as one of the world’s leading finance centres.

Guernsey Finance chairman, Lyndon Trott, also welcomed Molloy’s appointment: “He is a well-liked and respected member of Guernsey’s financial services community with a strong track record and ongoing commitment to helping and assuring that Guernsey’s primary employment sector and economic driver continues to flourish.”
