Ying Teoh, HSBC
HSBC Life, HSBC Group’s insurance business, has appointed Ying Teoh as global head of customer proposition, within the HSBC Life and Insurance Partnerships business.
Teoh is based in Hong Kong but oversees the bank’s Bermuda captive business, as well as its life product strategy, proposition, governance and reinsurance capabilities.
She is responsible for leading the rapid evolution of HSBC Life’s nascent health and employee benefits platforms, setting the sustainability agenda, and creating a systematic customer-centric design culture across products and platforms.
Teoh joins from Prudential where she was chief officer, strategic solutions for insurance Asia. She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, having worked across Asia, Australia and New Zealand. She also has experience in management across actuarial, investment, product development, pricing, risk management, performance management and strategic business management roles.
