Kensington names Erin Brosnihan as its new president

Kensington Management Group has named Erin Brosnihan as its president, following the retirement of Michael Gibbs at the end of 2020.

Brosnihan has 21 years of experience as a chartered accountant and 19 years working with captives at Kensington, having previously worked at Ernst & Young in Edmonton and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cayman, before joining Kensington in 2001.

She has also served as chair of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) and currently represents Kensington on IMAC’s executive committee.

Brosnihan is currently executive vice president of Kensington, responsible for client services and professional staff training and development, as well as its quality and procedural enhancements.

Gibbs, also a past chair of IMAC who served on its executive committee for 12 years, promised Brosnihan’s tenure at the firm and experience with captive clients will ensure a smooth transition.

Gibbs will begin his term as president of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce in 2021.
