Marsh appoints Tamara Franklin as chief digital, data, and analytics officer


Marsh has appointed Tamara Franklin as chief digital, data, and analytics officer.

Franklin will be responsible for designing and implementing digital technologies and enhancing the use of data and analytics to transform how Marsh supports and serves clients.

She will take up her post on October 1 and will be based in New York. She will report to John Doyle, president and chief executive officer of Marsh.

Franklin joins from IBM where she was most recently vice president of media and entertainment solutions, North America. She has more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformations and defining strategies for large multinational organisations, including Scripps, Time Warner, and Motorola.

Doyle said: “More than ever, our clients are looking to use the power of digital solutions to help them manage a rapidly-changing risk and insurance landscape, especially in light of the COVID-19 global pandemic.”

Franklin added: “Marsh’s commitment to giving clients access to advanced digital technology has greatly impressed me.”
