MSI hires new finance head


Leading North Carolina alternative risk solutions provider Management Services International has announced three new hires, including a new financial director.

Justin Vaden will begin as financial director in mid-September. A certified public accountant, he joins from Arkansas-based Przybysz & Associates, where he was a senior audit manager. Before that, was manager of insurance and risk finance at STIC Inc. the captive insurance company of general freight trucking business Pat Salmon & Sons in Atlanta. He oversaw day-to-day operations of the captive, covering all auto liability and workers’ compensation insurance claims for the company’s 3,000 employees. He also managed the risk retention group and the risk management strategy for the organisation.

At MSI, Vaden will lead the finance team, provide mentoring and set new policies, according to the company.

He will be joining two other new recruits: Laura Quinones, who will be supporting both Rosa Garcia, VP for operations, and manager of operations Clarissa Toledo as a new executive associate; and Natasha Greco, who will be providing administrative support.
