NAIC elects 2013 officers


The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), the US standard-setting and regulatory support organisation created and governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states and five US territories, elected their 2013 officers this week.

The elected officers will begin their duties on January 1, 2013. Those elected include Louisiana insurance commissioner, Jim Donelon (president), North Dakota insurance commissioner, Adam Hamm (president-elect), Montana state auditor and Commissioner, Monica Lindeen (vice president) and Pennsylvania insurance commissioner, Michael Consedine (secretary-treasurer).
