New US lead for Norton Rose Fulbright

Norton Rose Fulbright has appointed Mina Matin in New York as US co-head of its Insurance International Business Group, serving with co-head Neel Lane in San Antonio.

Matin has significant experience in insurance and reinsurance disputes and Bermuda Form arbitrations, representing international insurers, reinsurers and captives in Bermuda, the US and UK.

She joined Norton Rose Fullbright in 2017 when it acquired Chadbourne & Parke, where Matin was senior counsel. She has also held roles with Sedgwick LLP in New York and Attride-Stirling & Woloniecki (ASW) in Bermuda. Licensed to practice law in New York, California and Bermuda, Matin is also qualified as a barrister and solicitor of England & Wales.

A member of Norton Rose Fulbright’s fintech group, Matin has collaborated with the Bermudian government to promote the fintech industry, providing advice and expertise in establishing frameworks.
