Nicol & Co to host webinar to promote captives in The Bahamas

Actuarial and risk consulting firm Nichol & Co will host a webinar on the captive insurance industry in The Bahamas to promote the industry to local professionals and other service providers.

The webinar will be held on May 28, 2020. It will be hosted by Rayon Brown, a consulting actuary at Nichol & Co. He is also a director of Nassau Captive Management Services, which helps companies to design, build and maintain captive insurance and other alternative risk transfer solutions.

Brown has spent more than 20 years in the insurance industry, of which several years was spent working in London.

Nicol & Co said Nassau is well positioned to take advantage of growth in the captive insurance industry, which would help it diversify its financial services industry.
