Risk Partners recruits business development manager for captive insurance


Specialty workers’ compensation underwriter and alternative risk provider Risk Partners has hired Hartley Hartman as business development manager for captive insurance. Hartman will manage all new business development activities and support the company’s strategy for the segment.

Hartman, an associate in captive insurance (ACI) and certified public accountant (CPA), joins from Johnson Lambert, where he was senior audit manager. With over a decade of experience in the industry, he has also previously worked for AIG Captive Management Services. Hartman serves on the board of directors for the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE).

He will be based at the company’s Charleston, South Carolina, office.
