RSG Transactional Risks Europe poaches lawyer from Eversheds

Ryan Specialty Group has expanded the underwriting capabilities of RSG Transactional Risks Europe (RSG TRE) by hiring Ulrich Schiener.

RSG TRE is a specialised managing general underwriter focused exclusively on providing transactional insurance solutions to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) clients. Schiener has joined RSG TRE’s team in Barcelona, focusing on warranty and indemnity insurance for European transactions.

Schiener is a qualified German lawyer with experience advising private equity firms and strategic investors on M&A transactions. He joins RSG TRE from the corporate team at Eversheds in Munich.

Luc Joordens, director of RSG TRE in Spain, said the appointment “will help to further consolidate RSG TRE as one of the leading transactional risk insurance providers in the DACH-market”.

RSG Transactional Risks Europe comprises 23 professionals across London and Barcelona.
