RT Specialty adds workers compensation program to portfolio

RT Specialty, the wholesale distribution specialty of Ryan Specialty, has added a new workers’ compensation program for restoration contractors to their portfolio.

According to the company the workers’ compensation program is competitive for all aspects of the restoration industry including, janitorial, dry cleaning, carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning. The program is exclusive to RT Specialty for placements with a premium of up to $100,000 in the following approved states: AL, AR, AZ, DC, CT, CO, FL, GA, IA, IN, IL, ID, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MT, NC, NE, NV, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT and WV. RT Specialty has additional competitive brokerage markets available for the remaining states.

Historically, placing risks in this industry has presented many challenges due to mould removal, reconstruction work, and additional exposures typical for the industry. In addition, RT Specialty’s national workers’ compensation practice has ten existing specialty programs including Trucking, Healthcare, Restaurants with Delivery, and other hard-to-place classes.
