SRS expands European team

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has expanded the SRS European team with the addition of Sandrine Bonnefoy and Ernesto Quintana.

These latest additions come on the heels of the recent office expansion in Luxembourg.

“I am very pleased to have Sandrine and Ernesto joining us simultaneously. They will reinforce our capacities not only locally for Luxembourg, but across Europe as a whole, as their mix of skills, high motivation, and long experience of working with captives, insurers, and reinsurers will be available to the rest of our French and Latam markets and clients,” said Maxime Schons, managing director, European finance and compliance.

“At corporate level, we are very happy to be experiencing the kind of growth that requires further hiring, and that is in line with our original expectations. Bringing in Sandrine and Ernesto takes our numbers in Luxembourg up to six which alongside the flexible support available from our other jurisdictions gives us the critical mass to be able to confidently offer the full package of re/insurance captive management services, including actuarial, risk management, and governance with a depth of resource available to cover every discipline.”

Bonnefoy joins SRS after several successful years with Marsh. She’ll be based in the Luxembourg office working as a senior account manager along-side the already established team.

Quintana hails from Risk & Reinsurance Solutions ‘2RS’ and will also be a senior account manager within the Luxembourg office and will reinforce the SRS Latam team. Combined, Quintana and  Bonnefoy bring more than 27 years of experience to the SRS Europe team.

“We are delighted that our growth in Luxembourg and throughout Europe has been sufficiently strong to date so that we can confidently prepare for further growth and once again recruit ahead of the curve by welcoming Sandrine and Ernesto to the team,” said Peter Child, SRS Europe chief executive. “It’s just one of the advantages of being truly independent and 100% management owned that we are able to plan ahead and invest in our teams in expectation of new business. This means that our current and prospective clients can be sure that we will have the numbers and quality to be able to provide them with the best possible service from day one and throughout their relationship with SRS.”

SRS said that it continues to grow its European presence with a five-year strategy plan in place. The appointment of these two key team members is part of the initial plan to grow the staff locally. SRS Europe currently has locations in France, Guernsey, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
