Tennessee CIA board member added to Tennessee Insurance Hall of Fame


Mary Frances Miller, the former president of the Casualty Actuarial Society and current board member of the Tennessee Captive Insurance Association, has been inducted into the Robert E. Musto Tennessee Insurance Hall of Fame.

Miller is a founder and senior consulting actuary at Select Actuarial Services in Nashville, Tennessee, and has served as president of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the American Academy of Actuaries. She has also served on the board of directors of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.

She served as president of the CAS from 2003 to 2004, as well as the CAS vice president-admissions from 1999 to 2001.

Created in 1999, the Tennessee Insurance Hall of Fame, at Middle Tennessee State University, honors entrepreneurs who have made a difference in their companies and their communities and advanced the role of insurance in society.
