Worldwide Broker Network adds EPIC exec to its board

The Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), the global network of independent insurance and benefits brokers, has named Scott Davis, the president of the national specialty group at EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants, to its board.

Davis, a long time WBN member, is a former president and chief operations officer at Beecher Carlson and has held senior leadership roles at brokers including Willis Towers Watson and Lockton.

Meanwhile, existing board members Susan Murphy of Hub International, Matteo Scagliarini of Andrea Scagliarini and Markham McKnight of BXS Insurance were all reelected to WBN’s board for a second term.

WBN announced the appointments at its 64th Global Conference, held virtually in Chicago.

Alex Gilmore, chairman of WBN’s board, said Davis’ decades of senior broker experience will bring invaluable insight and expertise to WBN’s board. “I am looking forward to working with him as WBN’s network continues to grow and we further extend our capabilities to support members as they work to deliver outstanding service to clients,” he said.

Davis said: “Working internationally with broker colleagues around the world is one of the great strengths of WBN and the key to delivering for clients wherever in the world they are.”
