WRCIC reveals annual conference speakers

The Western Region Captive Insurance Conference (WRCIC) organisers have unveiled their education session and speaker lineup for this year’s annual conference, featuring over 44 speakers and keynotes.

The event will be held on June 12-14 at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, St. Louis, MO.

Veteran NFL player Kendall Gammon will be the keynote speaker at WRCIC. Gammon was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1992 NFL draft and spent four years with the Steelers and another four seasons with the New Orleans Saints. Next, he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2000 and spent the final 7 years of his career with the franchise. Today Gammon is a motivational speaker and is the author of two books.

This year’s conference includes a wide range of educational sessions on timely topics including Cell Captive Diversity, Updates on Insurance Taxation, Claims Best Practices, Current IRS Captive Enforcement Actions, Embedding ESG Initiatives into the Captive: Staying Ahead of the Curve, Integrating your Service Provider Team, a Regulator Roundup featuring six states, and the interactive Hot Topics session.

Continuing Education Credits will be offered on many sessions and provided by The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE), CLE and CEU.

Conference committee co-chair Allan Smith said that he is thrilled with the quality of this year’s conference. “There are many reasons to attend this year’s WRCIC,” he said. “We have an excellent education program featuring many key industry leaders. We have created a schedule with plenty of time for networking with colleagues and friends and opportunities to meet new business contacts.”
