AIG hires Marsh financial risk veteran

Christophe Letondot has returned to AIG as global head of credit lines. 

In a statement on LinkedIn he said that he was thrilled to be back at AIG and added that: “It is a privilege to lead our global credit portfolio and collaborate with our talented teams around the world. I look forward to reconnecting with former colleagues and meet new ones—both within the team and across the credit insurance industry.”

Letondot was previously at Marsh in New York for more than ten years, first as head of financial risk products from 2014 to 2018, then as US/Canada credit specialties practice leader from February 2018 to April 2024 and then finally as head of global alternative risk solutions from April 2024 to September 2025.

Prior to that he worked as a senior structuring underwriter - global risk solutions at AIG from July 2012 to January 2015 in London, where he sourced, structured, and underwrote large non-traditional insurance programs which mix elements of insurance, banking and capital markets.
