Louisiana to provide update on Insure Louisiana Incentive Programme

Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon, Senate Insurance Committee Chair Kirk Talbot and House Insurance Committee Chair Mike Huval are hosting a press conference to provide an update on the Insure Louisiana Incentive Programme now that the application period has closed.

The programme is designed to offer grants to insurers to write new policies in Louisiana. Insurance companies that are interested in participating can learn more and apply at ldi.la.gov/insurela.

The speakers will announce which companies have applied to participate, how much funding has been requested and the timeline for further implementation of the program.

The press conference will happen on March 14 at 10:30 am local time at the Louisiana Department of Insurance, Plaza Hearing Room, 1702 N. Third Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
