SCCIA issues annual conference reminder

The South Carolina Captive Insurance Association (SCCIA) has reminded its members and the general market that early bird registration for its annual conference ends June 30.

The SCCIA annual conference will be on September 26-28 in Charleston, South Carolina.

According to the SCCIA the tentative program for the conference includes topics such as a domicile and regulatory update, a tax update, regulation 114 trust and letters of credit, progressive medical plan cost containment strategies for captives, captives' financial strength, should captive managers be regulated, what captives need to learn from Silicon Valley Bank, innovation does not sleep - captive uses, the role of associations in the captive insurance universe and risk retention groups: what to do when the grim reaper comes calling.

Further information on speakers and topics will be added soon, the SCCIA said.
