
Aon unveils new COO in captives business
Aon has unveiled a new chief operating officer of its Captive & Insurance Management (ACIM) business.
Tracy Stopford (pictured) joins from NFP, acquired by Aon in 2024, where she was managing director and co-lead of NFP’s captive practice.
She has also held a number of senior roles in Willis Tower Watson. These included setting up Willis Captive Management (Hong Kong) to provide Captive Management Services and consulting to Hong Kong domiciled captive insurance companies.
In a LinkedIn post, she said: “In my role as Global COO at ACIM, I am focused on driving operational excellence while enabling growth, ensuring that strategy is not only well-defined, but effectively delivered across the business. My leadership approach is grounded in clarity, accountability, and collaboration. I’m passionate about developing strong teams, optimizing systems, and creating environments where innovation and execution go hand in hand.”
