Artex new hire for Cayman office

Artex Risk Solutions in the Caymans has appointed Declan O’Neill as client services director.

Declan trained and secured his Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) and Irish Taxation Institute (AITI) during his time with PwC Dublin where he joined as a graduate in 2007. During this time his client list included several Dublin domiciled captives and commercial insurers/reinsurers providing corporate tax compliance and consulting advice.

In 2013 he joined Coca Cola HBC Ireland as a tax and treasury accountant. Declan relocated to the Cayman Islands in October 2014 when he joined Willis Towers Watson Management (Cayman) Limited as an account manager responsible for the day-to-day management of several captive insurance companies. He was promoted to Senior Account Manager in 2017 and Senior Account Executive/Assistance Vice President in 2020.

Having most recently worked in captive insurance management for over 7 years and prior to this for over 6 years with PwC proving professional services to the insurance industry Declan brings considerable experience to his client portfolio.
