Asian Captive Conference date announced


The Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (IBFC), Malaysia’s international offshore financial centre, has announced that its Asian Captive Conference will take place virtually on December 2, 2021.

Speakers will include Nik Mohamed Din Nik Musa, director general of the Labuan Financial Services Authority, and Roy Sharma, chairman of the Labuan International Insurance Association.

Sessions during the one-day conference will cover rating agency AM Best’s insights into key risks and Southeast Asia’s market outlook, cell captives’ role in the “democratisation of captives”, and an update on international tax developments and plans for a global minimum tax rate.
