Captive Resources appoints McKinley as VP & captive executive

Jim McKinley has been appointed as vice president and captive executive at Captive Resources, based in Itasca, Illinois. 

He was previously principal at Acrisure from July 2021 to January 2026, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He was also a partner at HNI Risk Services from 2011 to January 2026, again based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. HNI is a non-traditional insurance brokerage and business advisory firm that helps clients attack and conquer risk, working with organisations to turn insurance into a strategic tool-one that helps to grow business by tackling the root causes driving costs.

Before that he was a senior sales executive at Wells Fargo Insurance Services from January 2004 to March 2011, again in Grand Rapids Metropolitan Area.
