Carnovis continues growth with new alternative risk pick

Jayson Ramdany has joined Carnovis Specialty as pricing actuary and underwriter.

In this role, Ramdany will be responsible for pricing and underwriting alternative risk transfer transactions, as well as further developing Carnovis Specialty's modelling capabilities, working closely with the rest of the Carnovis Specialty team and modelling teams across The Fidelis Partnership and Fidelis Insurance Group.

Ramdany joins from The Fidelis Partnership and brings 18 years’ experience working across a range of business lines in both insurance and reinsurance, based in London and New York. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. 

According to the company his appointment strengthens Carnovis’ technical and underwriting capabilities as the business continues to scale its alternative risk solutions.

Ramdany was previously a senior pricing actuary – partnerships at The Fidelis Partnership · in London from June 2025 until February 2026.

Before he worked for Aspen Insurance Group in first New York and then London from December 2020 until May 2025.
