Cayman Captive Forum registration opens
Registration has opened for the Cayman Captive Forum 2021. The event will be held online by the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman from November 30 to December 2.
Those logging in will be welcomed by Andrè Ebanks, Minister of Financial Services and Commerce and hear the keynote from computer crime specialist Michael Bazzell, looking at what organisations should be doing to address cybercrime.
Over three afternoons, participants can log in to about 30 sessions from dozens of speakers from the industry. Sessions include panels and discussions on the growing threat of sexual abuse and molestation claims, the pandemic and business interruption claims, and predicting the impact of social inflation in casualty lines. A live Q&A will follow each session.
“Early bird” rates for registration ends on November 12.
The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman announced in September that it would hold the forum in virtual format after it was cancelled in 2020.
“While we are disappointed that we are unable to welcome our clients, friends and colleagues back to Cayman this year, we are excited to host what promises to be an excellent conference in a virtual format, said Jackie Campbell, forum committee chair, said at the time.
“We are hopeful we will be able to move forward with an in-person program again in 2022.”
