Christie and Schock confirmed as EY captive leads
Andrew Christie has confirmed that he has been given the opportunity to co-lead EY’s captive insurance advisory practice alongside Brad Schock.
In a statement on LinkedIn he added: “We will continue to combine our insurance and tax expertise to provide a wholistic captive insurance consulting service. James Bulkowski is expanding EY's offering with innovation in the risk management and transactions (M&A) space.”
In November of last year Mikhail Raybshteyn and Paul H. Phillips, co-leaders of the EY global captive insurance network, both independently resigned from the company. At the time the expectation was that Christie would take over the captive insurance practise at EY and will be supported by the existing members of the leadership team including Jim Bulkowski and Brad Schock s and other EY partners/managing directors and teams in the insurance consulting and/or insurance tax practises. Christie has been at EY since May 2022, when he joined as senior manager and was a part of EY's Captive Consulting Team Americas, providing bespoke solutions to captive insurance and alternative risk financing needs in the US and internationally.
Christie was featured in Captive Review's 2024 edition of FORTY Under 40.
