CICA opens call for presentations for 2026 conference

The Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) has issued a call for presentations for its 2026 International Conference.

The CICA 2026 International Conference will focus on Navigating Risk in a Changing World. CICA members and non-members are welcome to submit a proposal for an educational session. 

The deadline for submissions is 6pm Eastern Time, Friday, August 22, 2025.

The conference itself will be on March 8-10, 2026 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, Palm Desert, California.

CICA said: “In a time defined by rapid transformation, emerging threats, and unprecedented global challenges, risk professionals must be more agile, informed, and forward-thinking. CICA’s domicile-neutral conference is the ideal venue to share your experiences, best practices and innovative strategies. We invite submissions for presentations on a broad range of topics including new strategies for addressing employee benefits, medical stop loss, claims, and fronting and reinsurance. We are also seeking presentations on professional development as well as the latest captive hot topics and trends.”

CICA has issued a number of tips for successful submissions to learn the necessary information for a proposal to be complete and the types of topics the Program Committee is looking for.
