Concert Group names new chair as leadership team evolves

Concert Group Holdings has announced that Charles Slatery (pictured), chairman and chief executive of WT Holdings, has been appointed to the position of chair of Concert Group. Slatery succeeds Strategic Risk Solutions founder and chief executive Brady Young who has held the position since Concert’s inception in 2021. Young will continue to serve on the Concert board.

“This is an exciting time in the company’s growth and development,” said Slatery. “I’m looking forward to all that we will achieve at Concert in the next few years.

“I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Brady for his leadership during the last four years and his belief in Concert’s potential. I’m pleased that he will continue to serve on the company’s board.”

Concert Group is a privately owned insurance holding company, which, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Concert Insurance Company and Concert Specialty Insurance Company, offers insurance fronting and related services in the United States.

Concert also announced that insurance industry veteran Matthew Adams has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company’s board and that Jonathan Reiss, who served on the board from Concert’s inception, has stepped down.

“I am delighted to welcome Matt to the board of directors,” said Slatery. “His impressive skill set as well as his extensive industry experience will be of huge benefit as we work to achieve our goal of establishing a leadership role for Concert in the fronting sector.

“We are all grateful to Jonathan for his contributions to Concert during the early stages of the company’s development and, on behalf of the board, thank him sincerely for his service.”

Adams’ career includes almost four decades with PricewaterhouseCoopers where, as lead account partner, he advised the firm’s largest and most complex global insurance clients. He is also currently a member of the boards of Fidelis Insurance Group, Mutual of America Financial Group and Globe Life.
