CRC hires new executive vice president

CRC Group, a wholesale specialty insurance distributor in North America which also deals with captives, has announced the hiring of Vince Colosimo as executive vice president in the company’s New York City downtown office. 

Colosimo will assume the role of office president in mid-2025, with current office president Fred Curatolo taking on a newly created role as office chairman.

“CRC has always had a strong casualty team in New York led by Fred Curatolo. The addition of Vince will help us ensure we continue to build on Manhattan’s success for many years to come,” said Brent Tredway, president of CRC’s Brokerage Division. “We are adding talent nationwide. We welcomed a record number of new producers to CRC last year, and we are off to a very strong start in 2024.”

Prior to joining CRC Group, Colosimo served as a managing executive focused on construction product line growth across all lines for a large specialty insurer’s retail and wholesale channels.
